FAQS
What’s the difference between a red and green laser level?
Essentially a green laser level is anywhere between 10 and 50 times brighter than a red light laser, and produces a crisper line that can be seen at greater distances. They are much more visible and over the years have become the most common type of laser measure around.
What does self-leveling mean?
A self-leveling laser level uses a pendulum system with an internal magnet to automatically find a level within the specified range. This means that instead of having to manually adjust the machine by looking at the spirit vials, the laser level does all the work for you and keeps the line levelled.
Can I use laser levels in daylight?
Most laser beams aren’t easily seen in broad daylight, and you must use the laser level indoors or under low light conditions to see the beam properly. Alternatively, some lasers include laser receivers which can be used to detect and receive the laser beam at certain distances.
