External Frame Sealant is a high quality acrylic based sealant that provides a long lasting, permanently flexible seal that can be overpainted when cured.

EXTBN Application: 

• Internal and External sealing around timber and metal window and door frames
• Internal sealing around PVCu window and door frames
• Sealing cracks and gaps in brickwork^ stone and concrete

EXTBN Features: 

• Permanently flexible
• Adheres to most surfaces
• Mould resistant
• Overpaintable
• Easy clean up
• Application temp. range +4°C to +40°C
• Do not apply External Frame Sealant at temperatures below +4°C.

• Shore A Hardness: Approximately 30
• Elongation at Break: >200% ISO8338
• Movement Capability: Low to medium (+/- 12.5%) EN15651-1
• Chemical Resistance: Dilute Acids - Poor; Dilute Alkaline - Poor; Aliphatic Hydrocarbons - Fair; Aromatic Hydrocarbons - Poor
• Service Temperature: -15°C to +75°C
• Compatibility: Can be used in contact with most building and decorating materials but should not be used against bituminous materials.
• Curing Time: 3 to 5 days, dependent on thickness, ambient temperature and humidity
• Tack Free Time: 15 to 60 mins, dependent on thickness, ambient temperature and humidity
