The insulated plastic area protects the cable and the staples can be driven with a hammer in confined areas. These DRS18100-XJ staples are approved for single or double stacked NM Sheathed Cable & Metal Clad Cable and are also suitable for use with low voltage cables such as CAT3, CAT5, & coax.
