Superb, powerful planer with up to 2mm cutting depth per pass and depth adjustment in 0.1mm increments. Features enhanced chip ejection and a foot for protecting the workpiece and blades. Accepts Makita 18v Li-ion batteries from 1.5ah up to 5ah.
The DKP180Z planer, which was created with the same benefits as the KP0800 mains planer, offers a no load speed of 14,000 rpm, an 82mm planning width, a 2mm maximum planning depth each pass, and an amazing 9mm rebate depth.
A foot on the plane base covers the blade and workpiece when setting the tool down. It has an easy-to-use, precise depth adjustment with click stops at 0.1mm stages for better accuracy.
The DKP180Z's well-balanced, 3.4kg weight makes it easy to move around the jobsite without sacrificing power, and its ergonomic soft grip handle offers optimal user comfort, minimising fatigue from extended usage and improving tool control.
