The Makita DHP484RFJ combi drill features a brushless DC motor for longer run time per battery and virtually no maintenance. It is the upgrade from the DHP480 with the added benefits of an all steel gearbox, improved chuck and better grip.

The gearbox has 2 mechanical gears with a low speed of 0-500rpm and a high speed of 0-2,000rpm and the rear collar has 3 settings of drill only, screwdriver with 21 torque settings and hammer mode for drilling masonry. With a compact length of just 182mm this machine is ideal for confined spaces such as kitchen fitting and a LED lamp situated under the chuck illuminates the work area.
