Bonded Seals

Bonded seals, also called Dowty Seals, are used as bolt seals in hydraulic equipment. They were originally designed to replace copper washers used in high-pressure systems. They are comprised of a metal outside ring and an inner ring of rubber elastomer that acts as a gasket to provide a sealing action.
